AC Shadows Unveils Surprising Attack on Titan Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre collaboration that defies traditional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Uncovered
According to the official release, "An unusual confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of prohibited practices and fearsome changes echo through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine cult.
The mission focuses on "bizarre tests and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Changes
The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser ends with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Extra Features
Players who accomplish the mission will acquire an exclusive katana in addition to several objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

- Mikasa attire for Naoe

This update also adds the game's newest complimentary story addition, titled "A Puzzlement."
